Fiorelli handbags and accessories, Europe-wide
After selling off a company to a plc in the 1990's, two Entrepreneurial Directors acquired the European retailing rights to Fiorelli, a popular brand of ladies accessories. Although well-known in Europe, the business hit crisis point in the UK in the mid 1990s and reported losses.
The High Street bank lost their patience, even though annual forecasts were never far away from the actual figures. Whilst working for Arbuthnot Latham, David Chesters was called in and quickly set about restructuring the balance sheet by introducing a separate invoice finance and stock finance package. The company has now expanded its range and is trading very successfully.
"David advised us to switch banks and pinpointed two sources of funding which turned around what had been a difficult time. He definitely understands small and medium businesses requirements, and certainly helped Fiorelli move up to the next level. David delivered the financial nous we needed to allow our company to achieve."
